Melbourne Loft

What a surprise this was!   I started watching “Survivor Gabon” this week.   It’s the 17th series of Survivor…  and yes I know I’m way behind.   But I download most of my TV shows now after they are finished.   Anyway, I watched with surprise when I saw muscular hunk pick Charlie to join his team at the beginning of the series, and Charlie run with extreme excitement and hugging Marcus.   Charlie is gay, Marcus is not.   Charlie freely proclaims that he loves Marcus in just about every episode.   And in most scenes where Marcus is doing some you can see Charlie standing by looking on.  It’s the sweetest thing I’ve seen in a long… and on mainstream American TV too!    I’m totally drawn in to the story now to see what happens.  I can totally see that there’ll be tears before bedtime for Charlie.   Charlie: “I’m having a better time here than I have at home”.   Marcus: “I don’t see a romance delevoping between Charlie and I….  oh yeah…  and I’m straight”.

It’s on again!   I’ve just booked a Qantas flight across the Pacific Ocean to California.   I decided to take advantage of the cheap seats on sale at the moment.  I’m going to Hollywood for a few days and then up to San Francisco for a week.  It should be a lot of fun.  I’m going over with America virgin Chris.  It will be fun travelling with someone who has not been there before.  We leave in April.

I was a little sad today to he the news of the passing of Wendy Richard.   Maybe better know as Miss Brahms of Are You Being Served fame or Pauline Fowler from Eastenders.   I had no idea that Wendy acted on Eastenders since the very first episode and stayed with them for 22 years!   She was a great actress and will be missed in British showbiz.  I last saw her in one of my favourite British comedies, Benidorm.
I’m having an Eastenders marathon weekend to celebrate her life.

Okay so I turned 40 during the week and last weekend I decided to have an all out birthday party.   Of course I don’t have a huge social network in Melbourne so I imported some friends from Sydney and invited friends of friends and some of the guys who have modelled for me.
It was such a fun party!   We had Adam Love DJ for us, hundreds of helium balloons, disco lights, the scary staircase to no where, the bathroom come video arcade, the chillout room, the dancefloor, the lounge, the beverage tent, the toy table, chef Frank cooking up a storm, and of course loads and loads of alcohol.   You can check out all the photos (by Jake) HERE.  My favourite part was dancing in my loungeroom to Adam Love’s music.   I wonder if he could pop around every Saturday nighht?

I’ce been run off my feet the past couple of weeks with visitors coming to the Loft, my 40th Birthday party and the Australia Day long weekend.   I dragged Greg, Tyson and Frank along the Australia Day weekend promising them wild acrobat acts and hot outfits.    Well…  I must have mistaken it for the Moomba Parade.   Just about all of the marching groups were cultural flag waving entries.    I was quite shocked when it ended without so much as a child being flung up into the air.   We did spot a few unusual entries like the boxing boys above.    I was teaching Tyson how to take ground level parade photos to make them seem like there is more action then what there really is.

I’ve been busy this morning updating the Private Room.  I’ve just added 33 new videos made over the past few months.   It’s amazing how quickly they add up.  Most of these were made in Melbourne and some up in Sydney.  There’s a mix of new guys and some familiar faces from previous shoots.

What a great name for a porn star!   I discovered Brian only recently in a video in XVideos.com.   How hot is this guy?   I’ve only just started to appreciated black guys after watching 4 seasons of The Wire.  Brian Pumper is also a rapper.  Check out his compilation video HERE.

I can’t believe how quickly we are all growing old.   My friend Daniel turned 40 today.  My friend Chris turned 40 last month and I TURN 40 LATER THIS MONTH !    That’s my friend Daniel above.

Guess who got a new camera from Santa Claus!   I finally got my hands on the new Canon 450D after drooling over it for the past 6 months.   All it took was for my mate Chris to tell me he thought that there was something wrong with the old 300D for me to make the decision to buy.   There actually wasn;t anything wrong with the 300D…  I just didn’t know how to use it correctly.
So the shot above is one of my mates posing for me and my new camera.  I always think that he is so lucky to be always travelling with a safety rail.   I’m not 100% happy with the quality of the photos just yet but I’m working on it.   The rest of this shoot will be posted in the Private Room soon.
